Service, Maintenance & Delivery Technician

We need a home medical equipment technician to join our team that will be responsible for the service, maintenance and delivery of home medical equipment, supplemental oxygen products and supplies to home care patients for area company. 

 

Experience in medical equipment field preferred but will consider other installation or maintenance experience/education. 

 

Responsibilities of this position: 

  • Will deliver home medical equipment to patients.

  • Services and maintains equipment in patients’ home and at the office.

  • Determines or obtains best daily route, then drives delivery vehicles on that route, to deliver home medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies to home care patients/clients in a timely manner. 

  • Provides patient/client orientation, instructing on the proper use, maintenance, and safety of equipment.

  • Must have customer service skills to work with clients in office and home setting.

  • Works with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems, thereby acting as a company field representative.

  • Assists in cleaning and disinfecting rental equipment.  Assists in minor repair work within scope of training.

  • Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.

  • Promotes teamwork among co-workers, including assisting fellow home medical technicians, as needed.

  • Takes “on call” time on a predetermined, rotating basis.

  • Performs all warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required.

  • TX class C driver's license required; driving record and background check may be required.

  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
